A pin placed on the right side of this wide but shallow green makes for easy short approach or chip, while one on the left demands too much risk with water on the left. In addition, any short approach from the right side over the mound in the middle of the green is an unlikely up and down. Be sure to make any lay up well short of the water left taking it completely out of play.
